College MUN in India
The jump from school to college MUN is real. Committees are smaller, agendas are more technical, and the delegates around you have three or four years of circuit experience. The upside is that college conferences reward substance far more than performance.
What changes
College committees run harder agendas and expect familiarity with primary sources. Speeches get shorter and more technical, and drafting quality carries more weight.
Crisis and specialised committees are far more common than at school level.
The circuits
Law schools, IITs, IIMs and large universities anchor the college circuit, with distinct regional cultures across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
