The Agenda

Reviewing the Policy Framework of India Post-Independence (1947–2026).

About the Committee

The Lok Sabha is the directly elected lower house of India's bicameral Parliament, representing the sovereign political will of over 1.4 billion citizens under Article 81 of the Constitution. It holds financial supremacy, enacts federal legislation and keeps the Council of Ministers collectively accountable.

This special session asks delegates to move beyond history — critically evaluating policy effectiveness, institutional capability and fiscal sustainability from 1947 to Viksit Bharat 2047.
