About the Committee
One of the six principal organs of the United Nations, ECOSOC coordinates the economic, social and related work of the UN and its specialised agencies. It is the central platform for reflection, debate and innovative thinking on sustainable development.
As generative AI reshapes labour markets, education, healthcare and public administration, ECOSOC must decide how to govern the technology, close the digital divide, and align it with the 2030 Agenda.
